Vacuum System Ejectors are utilized in series or in parallel to operate over a very large range of conditions, as well as at lower absolute suction pressures compared to a single stage unit.
What to expect
A single ejector element is limited by the ratio between its discharge and suction pressure (depending on the motive steam pressure and the back pressure) and the maximum load capacity.
These ejectors are placed either in series or in parallel, with or without intermediate condensers, to operate within a very large range of conditions and at lower absolute suction pressures compared to a single stage unit.
