Exchangers
Heat Exchangers are static machines to condensate vapors and steam by using a cooling fluid flow.
What to expect
The vapors and the cooling fluids can be placed within the same vessel (as in the direct contact condensers) or separated using a solid wall: as observed within the specific case of the shell and tubes type Heat Exchanger.
In AB Progetti exchangers, the cooling media usually flows into the tubes and the Shell contains the steam and vapors to be condensate. The Heat Exchangers can be deployed in many engineering processes, such as preheaters, gland condensers, and vacuum system condensers.
Just like the ejectors, Heat Exchangers have no moving parts, and hence maintenance cost is low, and operation is relatively constant when corrosion is not a factor. They also have a quiet, stable, and user-friendly operation.
AB PROGETTI CAN PRODUCE BOTH DIRECT CONTACT CONDENSER, rather THAN SHELL AND TUBES HEAT EXCHANGERS (WITH FIXED OR FLOATING TUBEPLATES). WE CAN apply ROLLING EXPANsion to thE TUBES OR WELD IT TO THE TUBE PLATES. AB PROGETTI CAN MANAGE MOST COMMONLY USED MATERIALS such as:
